Volunteer to serve as a door greeter at our Lord’s Day Masses. These volunteers will kindly welcome visitors as they enter the church while holding open the exterior door for them. Volunteers are needed at each Mass 15 minutes prior to when Mass starts.
Volunteer to assist visitors at our hospitality desk before and after Mass. Two volunteers are needed at each Mass 15 minutes prior to the start of Mass and immediately following it. Volunteers will help answer questions of our guests and welcome visitors.
Help us welcome new parishioners into our parish family by hand-delivering a parish gift to the family’s home. In this capacity, you will be a welcoming presence who enjoys getting to know new people.
As a parish mentor family, you will volunteer to connect with new parish families who have a desire to be matched with a current family. In this role, you will connect personally with new families assigned to you and be a resource to them so they can find their place within the parish.
SMG hosts Welcome Luncheons for new parishioners on Sundays four times per year. Volunteer to assist with set up, welcoming new parishioners, serving food, and cleaning up to provide a wonderful introduction to the St. Maria Goretti community.
