SMG will co-host Advent on Tap with St. Alphonsus Liguori on December 6. Fr. Coady Owens will be talking about The Eucharist and the Incarnation. Doors will open at Birdies at 6:30pm, with Fr. All children and "kids at heart" are invited to the Holy Name Society's annual Advent tradition, "Breakfast with St Nicholas" on Sunday, December 10th, in the Parish Hall following the 8am and the 10am Masses. The St. Monica Prayer Ministry lifts up in prayer those who have distanced themselves from or left the Catholic faith. The group meets on the third Tuesday of every month to pray "Way of the Cross: For Loved Ones Who Have Left the Faith" by Father Jeffrey Kirby STD. Following Stations, we continue our study of Brandon Vogt’s book "Return".
This year, SMG Youth Ministry will be hosting a night of Caroling on Wednesday December 20. All ages are welcome! We will gather at the Parish Hall at 6:30 PM and then travel to the nearby neighborhoods to carol before returning around 7:45 for hot chocolate and treats.
